Although management has not yet announced how much money is going to be offered regarding buy out, the workers and their representatives have clearly expressed their rejection, since this unilateral decision means a threat for the future of the plant.

To do away with more than 800 workers is only possible by reducing the production or by implementing an even more aggresive outsourcing policy.

We will not reach any agreement before the future of the plant is clearly established. That means that models, volume, BEC and required workforce must be established in a clear way so that workers can be confident that there is a future for the plant free of never-ending crisis.

The future should be set up in what we call Industrial Plan. This plan should include the obligation for the Company to negociate with the Works Council any outsourcing process that may be carried out in the future,

This negotiations should include the minimun standars that we are demanding from the Company regarding the European Outsourcing Agreement.
