Solidarity Adress by IBC - Union Convenor

Hello Rudi
Please express to the workers at the GM Antwerp Plant, IBC's solidarity in your fight for future volume and a second product/vehicle. To offer volume of 80,000 vehicles to a 250,000 volume plant is nothing less than a synical move by GM.
We will be ensuring that the workers here at IBC are aware of the shameful tactics adopted by GM management.
We will provide all support possible.
In Solidarity

Hello to all our fellow commrades in Antwerp. As someone who has already gone through one plant closure here in Luton GM has yet again decided to close another plant in Europe. How many more before there are none left!
Keep up the fight!
The ever increasing strain upon all our members over the worry whether their jobs are safe or not must be resisted. The alure of cheaper labour in the East will ultimately have worker against worker and the horrifying prospect of Country against Country which could lead to the ultimate, war! All the unions in each of our repective Countries must unite and resist any more plant closures.I sincerely hope we can all respond to the threat of another plant closure.
Great Gary, you know the Luton workers can also count on Rudi and the Antwerp workers as well as the EEF. Let us work on a European Future Agreement until 2016 for all of us! W.
