This blog is a great idea. It could really bring gm workers from different nations closer to each other. It's also great that each can write articles in their own language. But... isn't there a way to make sure that all entries are also written in a language that most can understand? (English?). I mean, what's the point in writing an article in let's say Polish, when only the Polish can understand what's been said? The Russian article is a good example. If it had been written in Russian, I (Dutch speaking worker from Antwerp) would have no idea what it's about.

At the top right of these blog pages is a block of link that starts "Languages"
Click on this link, select 'English,' and the postings will be automatically translated. I think the translation is done by one of the automated translation engines, so they're not always elegant, and sometimes not quite sensible, but better than nothing.
Yes i fully agree i want too be able to understand all of the posts.
I think we can work it out within the network. I would be ready to translate say from Russian into English (may be it would be interesting for Polish or CIS collegues). On the other hand messages in original languages are also important since they can be read by national workers who do not speak othe tongues. ideally messages should be in both original and in couple European languages. I am sure with time it will come naturally.
That's a real issue indeed. However, I'm not quite sure how it could be done on a pratical level.

Do you think it could be a collective effort ? Would you be prepared to give a hand to translate from Dutch to english ? (or the other way around)

If enough of us are willing to help on that, we can make the news much more visible indeed.
