GM to build engine plant in Brazil
SÃO PAULO, 4/15/08 - US car maker GM will build a new engine plant in Brazil that will make 120,000 units a year, the company announced Monday. [...] The plant will generate 500 direct and 1,300 indirect jobs and operations are scheduled to begin in the final quarter of 2009.
US car maker General Motors will build a new engine plant in Brazil that will make 120,000 units a year, the company announced Monday. The investment is estimated at US$200 million and the plant will be built in Joinville (Santa Catarina state).
