GM paralyses outsourcing of Facility Management in Spain

"General Motors Spain informed the works council of its decision to paralyse the foreseen outsourcing of 227 workers at the plant of Saragossa. Just a month ago, GM said it was its intention to outsource the workers of three units of its Spanish plant. Three options were offered to the workforce operating in the affected units." (El Mundo, Nov. 22, 2007).

The resistance of the workers and their unions have worked successfully!!
