Confirmed : 2261 Jobs dissapear, not 1400 !

It has been confirmed by the staff of G.M. Belgium !
There will be 2261 jobs dissapearing and not 1400 jobs !
- 320 temporary contracts and interims have already stopped since tuesday 29 May
- 80 temporary contracts will be ended before the summer holidays.
- 1000 main contracts will be ended by the end of the year (or sooner)
- another 861 main contracts will be ended by spring next year.
- The first 400 make that the nightshift will be halved (a lot of nightworkers have to transfer to other shifts too). The chain will be reduced to half speed equaly.
- The 1000 main contracts (or already a part of it) make that one of the day-shifts also will be halved (as will the chainspeed)
- The last shift will be halved with the second part of the 1000 main contracts.
- The 861 extra jobs will dissapear as a measurement for the 120.000 units decrease.
And then, als a result, our output will decrease from outstanding to catastrophic, so they will have no problem to search for a reason to close plant completely then.
Long live our prime minister who was at the grand party yesterday at the renewed plant in Brussels which assembles now Audi's A3 (instead of the Volkswagen Golf). We don't have heared from him today !
