We stopped the production between 13.00-14.00 and from what I could see, we had a 100% attendence, about 180 people.
The whole work force are behind the demands from the EEF/EMF and we are proud to show our support and solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Antwerp and the rest of the GME work force.

Facklig aktionsdag mot GM
Runt om på General Motors fabriker i Europa har facken idag en aktionsdag mot GM:s ledning. På växellådsfabriken i Göteborg kommer produktionen att stanna mellan klockan 13 och 14 och ett massmöte kommer att hållas.

Facket vill ha ett framtidsavtal med krav på inga fabriksnedläggningar eller påtvingade uppsägningar före 2016 säger metalls ordförande på Växellådsfabriken, Daniel Hedvall, till Västekot.

Man vill också visa sitt stöd för GM:s fabrik i Antwerpen som förlorade dragkampen om att tillverka nästa generation Opel Astra och därmed fått minskad produktion.
