Delta site-selection-process in Europe

Here you find documents about the Delta site-selection process in Europe

Five plants (Antwerp/BE, Bochum/DE, Ellesmere Port/UK, Gliwice/PL, Trollhättan/SE) had to compete about the production allocation for the future compact class cars (Astra and Zafira) that are build on the Delta-platform.

Further translations of the articles and the resolution below will follow. As well as documents of the GMEECO-conference. GMEECO (General Motors Europe Employee Cooperation) was an EU-financed project to support the employee representatives of the Delta plants developping a joint strategy for the site-selection-process. The IG Metall applied for the project and coordinated it. The project team worked in close cooperation with the Joint Delta Working Group (JDWG), the EEF and the EMF coordinator. The project started in December 2005 and ended in July 2007
